The Sleep and Society Podcast

Everybody sleeps. But not all sleep is equal-the timing, amount, and quality of sleep have a profound impact on our biology, psychology, economy and society. The Sleep and Society podcast focuses on humanity through the lens of sleep, from many fascinating angles. Based on Ruhi Snyder’s ground-breaking longitudinal self case study: “The Role of Self Regulation to Counter the Slow Violence of Shift Work”, the podcast features researchers, scholars, workers, teenagers, mothers, and others who have a unique contribution to the subject. The series includes segments on work, exercise, nutrition, motherhood, adolescence, chronobiology, economics, and many other elements that impact on, and are impacted by, our complex and crucial relation to sleep. The podcast was created by host Ruhi Snyder.
